Formed in 1996, it delivers apprenticeship programmes in seven construction trades, covering electrical, gas and plumbing, joinery, site carpentry, painting and decorating, bricklaying and plastering, and assigns each apprentice a training officer for the length of their programme. It works with construction employers of all sizes in Bristol to recruit, train and develop apprentices, and states that it has worked with over 1,200 firms and supported more than 2,000 apprentices.
