Construction subjects include bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, civil engineering and the built environment, electrical installation, painting and decorating and green technologies, and the college hosts the North-West Construction Technical Excellence College. Within the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology it is the lead partner for further education, and it offers employers apprenticeships, bespoke training, work placements and pre-apprenticeship recruitment programmes.
